ESDS Software Solution could become India's first listed pure-play data-centre operator — and that is exactly why its unlisted shares are in demand in 2026.

The business

Founded in 2005 in Nashik by Piyush Somani, ESDS runs Tier-III data centres and the patented eNlight auto-scaling cloud platform, providing managed hosting, colocation and disaster-recovery to banks, government bodies and enterprises. Its client base spans BFSI and the public sector.

The IPO

ESDS has SEBI approval and, per 2026 reports, is preparing an IPO of around Rs 720 crore (upsized from Rs 600 crore), positioned as India's first listed pure-play data-centre operator. It raised a pre-IPO round in early 2025 from marquee investors, including well-known public-market names.

Financials

ESDS reported strong FY25 numbers — revenue of roughly Rs 377 crore and net profit around Rs 56 crore — a marked step up from earlier years, though the business remains capital-intensive.

Unlisted price and mechanics

Check the live ESDS unlisted share price; it is an indicative off-market ask (ISIN INE0DRI01029), not an exchange price. Settlement is an off-market demat transfer after KYC, with the standard six-month post-listing lock-in.

Risks

Data centres are capex-heavy and debt-funded; the exact IPO date and price band are not confirmed; and unlisted shares are illiquid with wide spreads. A listing is never guaranteed.

Disclaimer: Unlisted shares are illiquid and prices are indicative, not exchange-quoted. A listing is never guaranteed. ShareSaathi settles confirmed lots off-market to your demat; this is information, not investment advice.
